Removal
1. Switch the power
OFF
and
unplug

the power cord.
2. Remove the hood cover, see
"Covers and Panels Replacement" on page 80
, and
left/right Landing Trim covers, see
"Covers and Panels Replacement" on page 80
.
3. Remove the left and right Trim End Cap covers, see
4. Slowly relax the running belt tension using a 5/16" hex key socket and ratchet (only
use hand tools and not power tools). Alternately loosen the left and right tension
adjustment bolts in 1/4 turn increments so that the running belt tension is evenly
relaxed. Do not use power tools which can easily under or over tighten the tension
damaging the belt tension hardware.
CAUTION
: Only use hand tools to adjust tension. Power tools can easily over
and/or under tension causing damage to the belt and/or tension hardware
mechanism.
5. Use a pen or tape to identify the left and right ends of the roller prior to removal. The
roller must be reinstalled with the same left/right orientation.
IMPORTANT
: Make sure to mark the left and right ends of the take-up roller prior to
removal. The roller must be reinstalled with the same left/right orientation.
