6. Re-tighten the four motor mount fasteners and torque to specification 204 in-lbs (17
ft-lbs, 23 N-m).
7. Reinstall drive belt. Place drive belt onto the motor pulley and walk the belt onto the
drive roller pulley. Use one hand to move the motor flywheel which rotates the motor
pulley and the other hand to walk the belt onto the drive roller pulley.
8. Place the tension gauge onto the belt and remeasure the tension.
a. If the tension measurement is not within specification, repeat the tension adjust-
ment process until the measured tension is within the drive belt tension spe-
cification.

9. Connect the power cord and switch the input power
ON
.
10. Run the treadmill speed at 3 mph (5 kph) for 1 minute.
11. Switch the input power
OFF
and unplug the power cord.
12. Repeat the belt tension measurement and verify that the tension remains within the
drive belt tension specification. If not within specification, repeat the drive belt tension
adjustment procedure until the drive belt is within specification.

13. Verify that the drive belt alignment has not moved out of alignment during the belt ten-
sioning process,, see
"Drive belt alignment" on page 58
Operation verification
14. Reinstall the hood cover, see
"Hood Cover Replacement" on page 88
15. Connect the power cord and switch the input power
ON
.
16. Do the Operation Verification tests (see
"Operation Verification" on page 24
) and
return to service.
