5. Continue to loosen and remove the Take-up roller tension adjustment bolts .
6. For Take-up rollers that will be reinstalled. Use a pen or tape to mark and identify the
left and right sides of the roller prior to removal. The roller must be reinstalled with the
same left/right orientation.
IMPORTANT
: Make sure to identify the left and right ends of the roller prior to
removal.
7. Remove the left and right roller bridges. Retain part(s) and/or fastener(s) for install-
ation.
8. Remove the take-up roller from the inside of the running belt. Lift the take-up roller
while removing from the inside of the running belt. The roller is heavy, so be careful to
not scratch the deck surface or belt while removing the roller..
CAUTION
: Make sure the Take-up roller does not drag across the deck surface
while removing causing damage to the deck surface.
Installation
1. Insert the roller through the inside of the running belt and set the Take-up roller into
the left and right mounting brackets.
IMPORTANT
: For used Take-up roller replacement, make sure the left/right ori-
entation is maintaned (same as originally installed).
CAUTION
: Make sure the Take-up roller does not drag across the deck surface
while inserting through the running belt causing damage to the deck surface.
2. Reinstall the left and right roller bridges.
3. Hand start and reinstall the left and right running belt tension adjustment bolts. Hand
tighten the bolts, do not fully tighten.
