The arm provides extra reassurance and comfort when 

using the toilet, when sitting or getting up and for sideways 

movement.

We hope that helpers and users will benefi t from the multiple 

functions and advantages of the product:

•  The end of the arm is designed to provide secure grip.

•  The end is comfortably rounded and a good support when the 

user stands or sits. It also provides a clear indication of where 

the arm ends.

•  The materials are aluminium and nylon.

•  Depending on model, the arm can be supplemented with 

accessories such as toilet paper holder, shower curtain or 

fl ush buttons. Accessories can be ordered from Pressalit Care.

•  The arm is available in a special version with lock button.

Important safety information

•  Please read the user and maintenance guide thoroughly 

before using the arm. Pressalit Care cannot be held liable 

if the product is used in any way which differs from that 

described in the guide.

•  The information in the guide is based on correct fi tting 

of the support arm in accordance with our installation 

guide.

•  If the product is out of order or damaged, it must not be 

used until it is repaired.

•  When moving a support arm without any cushion spring 

from vertical to horizontal, hold the arm all the way down 

until in the horizontal position.

•  When moving the arm from horizontal to vertical, do not 

release the arm until it is locked in the vertical position.

The arm can easily be pulled down to horizontal from this 

position again.

•  When the arm is in the horizontal position, avoid lifting it up.

•  If the arm if fi tted with a lock button, it can be locked in 

either horizontal or vertical position. The horizontal lock 

ensures that the arm cannot be lifted up, e.g. when a user 

gets up. The vertical lock means a standing user can hold 

on - e.g. for men when using the toilet.

•  The product is not intended for play, and we therefore 

recommend that it is not operated by children without 

adult supervision.

•  We reserve the right to amend this guide without prior 

notice.
