Manually Overriding the Security System
Your system can be disarmed without the use of the remote control. This is
necessary to operate your vehicle if the transmitter is lost or its battery fails. To by-
pass the alarm system;
1. Open the vehicle door. The alarm will sound.
2. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
3. Within five (5) seconds, press and hold the valet push button switch for
one (1) second.
The alarm system will stop sounding and enter the (by-passed) mode. You can now
start and operate the vehicle normally.
Bypassing The Shock Sensor
The on-board security shock sensor has two stages of detection, Warn-Away and
Full Trigger. To arm the system and shock sensor press the
button. The system will
beep and the lights will flash one (1) time.
To Arm the system and bypass the shock sensor press the
button then press the
button within two (2) seconds.
To Arm the system and bypass both the shock sensor and door trigger detection press
the button then press the
button within two (2) seconds.
Valet Mode
To enter or exit valet mode press the then press the
button within two (2)
seconds. When valet mode is activated the status LED will light solid, and all security
functions will be disabled.
