2.2.5 CD/DVD-ROM Drive
Disassembly
1. Carefully put the notebook upside down. And remove the battery pack. (See section 2.2.1 disassembly)
2. Remove one screw that secures the CD/DVD-ROM drive. (Figure 2-11)

3. Put the notebook back to the upright position. Then insert a small rod, such as a straightened paper clip, into the
drive’s manual eject hole and push firmly to release the tray. Pull the tray out until fully extended, then carefully pull
harder to remove the CD/DVD-ROM drive. (Figure 2-12)
Reassembly
1. To replace the CD/DVD-ROM drive, slide and push it all the way into the compartment to plug.
2. Secure the CD/DVD-ROM drive with one screw.
3. Replace the battery pack. (See section 2.2.1 reassembly)
