INSTALLING THE AIR WIND TURBINE:
•
Assembly blade set first using proper torque for
hardware and provided tef
-
gel included. AIR X
Marine/AIR 30 units it is recomended tip to tip
measurement of blades to avoid vibration. Read

•
All AIR turbines use a 1.5 inch SCH. 40/80 tower
pipe (1.875 inch OD). The YAW of the turbine
slips into this size pipe with the YAW pad in place.
Lift turbine 1/8 of an inch to isolate turbine on
YAW pad to minimize vibration transfer from
turbine to tower.
•
Be sure all 3 WIRE connections (RED
-
BLACK
-
GREEN) are properly secure in tower pipe as non
solid connections can lead to operational issues.
•
After proper installation of HUB nut, secure nose
cone on all 3 tabs on HUB. Rotate blade set and
listen for nose cone clicking or check any rubbing
with HUB on FACE of AIR turbine.
•
Prior to tower tilt up, power up turbine, be sure
to check for the 2 LED blinks to assure the proper
connection of turbine to battery. Refer to AIR
Owner

s Manual on this topic and LED operation.
AIR MAINTENANCE:
•
Within 30
-
60 days after intial turbine install,
check blade bolts, hub nut and YAW bolts for
proper torque to ensure safe long term operation
of the AIR unit.
•
Every 6
-
12 months, repeat procedure inspection
procedure of hardware and include the
inspection of the Blade set for chips or nicks.
