Acts
as a toggle switch between the ENABLE state, in which the printer can print
data, and the HOLD state, in which operator functions may be performed.
HOLD
ENABLE
Pressing FORM FEED advances the paper to the top of the next form. Used for
setting top of form after the SETUP key is pressed.
Advances the paper one line at a time. Holding this key down repeats the function
at ten line feeds per second, with a half
–
second delay before repeating begins.
Sets the logical page position to column one, line one for repositioning paper
. No
paper movement occurs.
Permits viewing the position of data on the page. This key functions as an up arrow
in the AL
TERNA
TE and PROGRAM states.
Cancels a print job. In the AL
TERNA
TE state, this key becomes a P
A2 key
.
Permits entry into the PROGRAM state, from which you may change printer
parameters. Refer to the
User
’s Manual
for information. In the PROGRAM state,

column sliding pattern of all characters in the present character set.
Press the key a second time to discontinue printing the pattern. In the PROGRAM
state, this key becomes the ENTER key

Produces the following functions in conjunction with another key: Clear Error
Log, Key T
est, Reset, PROGRAM State Locked, Unlock PROGRAM State.
