Power Paper Stacker Maintenance
Logic Cable Assembly
(Figure A–7)
Removal
1. Remove the left and right side panels as described on page 6–4 of
Chapter 6, Replacement Procedures.
2. Disconnect P3 (2) of the logic cable assembly (1) from J3 on the stacker
PCBA.
3. Disconnect P1 (3) of the logic cable from J1 (4) on the emitter (5).
4. Disconnect P19 (6) of the logic cable from J19 on the card cage logic
backplane (7).
5. Remove the logic cable.
Installation
1. Connect P3 of the logic cable to J3 on the stacker PCBA.
2. Route the logic cable through the cable slot in the paper stacker, across
the center of the printer on the back side of the paper entry guide, and
through the cable opening on the rear of the card cage. Secure it with
cable tie holders.
3. The logic cable is split into two plugs, P19 and P1. Connect P19 to J19
on the card cage logic backplane.
4. Connect P1 to J1 on the emitter.
NOTE: Connector P1 must be installed with the locking tab (8) facing the
center panel.
5. Install the left and right side panels as described on page 6–4 of Chapter
6, Replacement Procedures.
