GPIO Monitor
NOTE:
This menu appears only if GPIO Tables is set to Enable, Internal, or
User Defined.
Shows the status of the GPIO input opto-couplers on the control panel LCD.
A ‘.’ (dot) indicates that the corresponding opto-coupler is inactive. A ‘|’ (bar)
indicates the opto-coupler is active.

This menu appears only for thermal printers, and only if Admin User
is set to Enable (in the PRINTER CONTROL menu).
Enables the use of print and apply hardware.

XYZ Status Port
NOTE:
This menu appears only for thermal printers.
When this option is not set to Disable, and special PTX_SETUP commands
are received from the host, motor control information will be sent out the
selected port.
PTX_SETUP ENGINE-XYZ;x;y;z Command
!PTX_SETUP
ENGINE-XYZ;x;y;z
PTX_END
The PTX_SETUP ENGINE-XYZ;x;y;z command and the XYZ Status Port
menu are used to control a feature where the printer sends information to an
external motor device. When the printer sends information to the external
motor device, the external motor changes position.
The XYZ Status Port menu determines where the motor position information
is sent. Attach external motor device to the port indicated in the menu. If this
menu is set to Disable, no motor position information will be sent, no matter
how many PTX_SETUP commands are received.
The PTX_SETUP ENGINE-XYZ;x;y;z command indicates that as soon as the
next form begins printing, the external motor should be requested to move to
Xposition=x, Yposition=y, and Zposition=z position. Place the PTX_SETUP
XYZ command in the input file immediately before the form to be printed at
the new position.
For example, if you print the Example Test File (below), the following actions
will happen in this order:
1.
The external motor will be told to move to Xposition=1, Yposition=2, and
Zposition=3 the moment that FORM1 begins printing.
2.
FORM1 will finish printing.
