Using the Test Sequence Compiler/Downloader
7.3.4.1.
Starting the program
The DSA-1 Test Sequence Compiler/Downloader is started by double-clicking the
appropriate icon in the 'DSA-1 Host Support' program group.
A large editor window appears which is similar to any basic MS-Windows text editor
such as Notepad. Familiar menus allow Test Sequence source files to be created,
saved, loaded, printed etc. The COMPILE menu contains the additional options for
compilation of the source files and downloading of the resulting binary files to the DSA-
1.
Try loading, modifying, compiling and downloading one of the standard Test Sequence
source files supplied (if you save the result, use 'save as' so as not to overwrite the
original standard file). This will give you a feel for the process.
The following sections document the functions of the pull-down menus.
