Prior to Operating the PS-A Unit

Power Supply
About states of PS-A’s power supply, there are three kinds of states, which are No Energization, Active State
(Normal), and Soft OFF State

. Each state is outlined in the following.

The Soft OFF refers to the state that Windows

has been shut down and the power is provided only for
the electric circuit to boot system. This Soft OFF State is different from what is System Standby set by
Windows
