The IPV “CCC” temperature sensor constantly monitors for you the cooling
temperature of your cool box without you having to open the box. The
temperature can be detected by your smartphone from a distance of up to
30 metres from your cool box (e.g. the cool box is running in the car boot –
temperature detection in the passenger compartment on your smartphone). The
temperature can be monitored in a range from minus 10°C to 50°C.
You can connect up to 4 different temperature sensors at the same time. The app
displays the current temperature measured and saves and displays the highest and
lowest temperature measured over the measurement time as long as the bluetooth
connection and the temperature sensor are switched on.
The app has an alert function that warns you as soon as a personally entered
maximum or minimum temperature is exceeded or fallen short of. The temperature
is detected by the IPV CCC temperature sensor ca. every 30 seconds and
transferred via Bluetooth 4.0 to the device and stored on it, so that the temperature
can be safely monitored over the entire period of the cool chain. The app must
be actively connected with the activated temperature sensor via Bluetooth for the
temperature data to be transmitted and stored.
The app enables you to store individual temperature data for the duration of up
to 24 hours. The CCC Temperature Sensor has its own power supply that can
be switched off (battery 1xCR2032 3V) and, thanks to low energy technology,
enables uninterrupted data transfer for up to 6 months. If you press and hold the
ON/OFF button of the top of the temperature sensor for ca. 3 seconds, a small
light appears that confirms the selected ON or OFF OPTION (green light for on,
red light for off).
The CCC Temperature Sensor can be activated fast and easily via the free “IPV
CCControl” app.
Included with the temperature sensor is a separate holder that you can permanently
place in a position you wish inside the cool box. Simply peel off the protective
foil of the adhesive tape on the back of the holder and firmly position the holder in
the place you wish to measure the cooling temperature.
We recommend placing the sensor on the inside of the lid. This way, the sensor is
protected from damage caused by stored food and drinks and especially from the
humidity of the cooled goods.
Please note that where you choose to place the sensor influences the measured
temperature because, as is the case with your household refrigerator, the
temperature at the bottom of the cool box will be lower than at the top of the
cool box. By placing the sensor of the inside of the lid will usually display the
“warmest” part of the cool box. If you wish to avoid this, you can place the
holder, for example, in the middle of the cool box on the side of it.
