Buzzer/Backlight – Press the button (K) and hold to turn the
LED backlight on or off. Press the button briefly to turn the
buzzer on and off. A beep will issue when the level is at 0°, 45°
and 90° or their equivalent measurements.
Measurement – Press the button (G) to select the unit of
measurement. Press the button again to cycle to the next
measurement: degrees (°), gradient (%) or slope (in./ft). The
symbols in parenthesis will appear on the LCD.
Reference – Press the button (F) and 5 dashes will appear, then
the LCD will display zero, resetting the angle to the current
inclination. REF will flash while the reference function is active.
Other functions are available while the level is in Reference mode.
Calibrate – Recalibrate the level if it is dropped, suffered an
impact or you suspect it is inaccurate.
Place the level on a flat surface. Press and hold the Calibrate
button (E) until CAL 1 appears. Press Calibrate again and the 1
will flash. When the number 1 changes to a 2, flip the level
upside down and place on the same surface. Press Calibrate
again. The number 2 will flash and turn to an active angle
display. Calibration is complete.
Temperature - Press the Calibrate button briefly to display the
temperature of the object the level is resting on. Press again to
cycle through Fahrenheit, Celsius, then to exit the mode.
LCD SCREEN
The reading on the LCD screen (H) will flip over when the level
is upside-down. The LCD screen has a symbol in each upper
corner. These do not flip over.
Battery – The three black bars display the amount of charge
remaining in the batteries. Replace the batteries when it
displays one or no bars.
