5. Operate on smooth, level, finished floors only; do not use on ramps
or sloping floors.
6. To prevent accidental tipping, make sure load is centered on the
pallet jack’s forks.
a. Be aware that strong winds can affect the load’s stability.
7. Do not lift a load with fork tips only. This may cause damage to the forks
and personal injury if the rear of the pallet jack suddenly tips upward.
8. Know the weight of the load being lifted. Do not exceed the
maximum capacity (see Specifications). Overloading can cause
damage to or failure of the jack.
9. Never leave a loaded pallet jack unattended in the raised position.
Always lower the load to the floor.
10. Pull pump release lever slowly to allow load to descend in a
controlled manner.
11. Secure load before transporting.
12. The handle is designed to pull and steer the pallet jack only. Do not
use the handle as a leverage tool.
13. Do not place an appendage next to the wheels when operating, as a
crushing injury may occur.
14. Make sure the user is qualified to use the pallet jack.
HYDRAULIC JACK PRECAUTIONS
1. Never attempt to use the jack unless it is properly filled with hydraulic

2. Make sure there is enough clearance around the pallet jack and the
load for movement.
3. Do not place your hands between the moving components.
4. Inspect the tool before each use. DO NOT use if bent, broken,
cracked, leaking, otherwise damaged, if any suspect parts are noticed
or it has been subjected to a shock load.
5. Check to ensure that all applicable bolts and nuts are
firmly tightened.
