ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Letter references in parenthesis (A) refer to the included Identification Key.
Dashed numbers in parenthesis (Fig. 1-1) refer to a specific point in an
illustration or image.
OPERATION
IMPORTANT! The Emergency Button (J) will immediately stop all
functions for lifting, lowering, driving and engage the braking
system when pressed.
IMPORTANT! The Safety Button (H) will immediately switch the
drive so the pallet jack will move away from the operator during
use, if the tiller (I) is in use and moving towards the operator.
This pallet jack is designed for use with open style pallets or skids only.
Closed style pallets must be placed on top of fork prior to use.
The pallet jack is intended for indoor use with an ambient temperature of
5° to 40°C.
1. Turn the emergency button clockwise to disengage the emergency
stop function.
2. Insert and turn the key (F) to start the motor.
3. Press the horn button (N) to activate the audible warning system.
4. Check the battery charge.
5. Maneuver the pallet jack into position (see Steering The Pallet Jack).
6. Insert the forks into the pallet until the load is resting against the
back plate.
7. Press and hold the raising button (O). Release the button once the
load is off the ground. Lift the load the minimum required height to
keep the center of gravity low.
8. Press and hold the lowering button (Q) until the load is on the ground.
Release the button once the forks are slightly below the load, to allow
the pallet jack to be backed out without scraping against the load.
9. When parking, always lower the forks to the ground, then press the
emergency button (J) to activate the parking brake. Do not park on an
incline.
10. Turn the motor off and remove the key.
