IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

13. REPLACEMENT PARTS.

When servicing, use only identical replacement

parts and fasteners recommended by the manufacturer.

14. CONNECT TOOL TO AIR SUPPLY BEFORE

 loading fasteners to prevent

fasteners from firing during connection. The fastener driving mechanism

may cycle when the tool is connected to the air supply.

15. ALWAYS ASSUME THE TOOL CONTAINS FASTENERS.

 Keep it pointed

away from yourself and others at all times. Handle the tool very carefully.
Respect the tool as a working implement.

16. ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE WORK CONTACT ELEMENT (WCE) IS

OPERATING PROPERLY.

A fastener could accidentally be driven if the

WCE is not working properly. Personal injury may occur.

17. DO NOT LOAD FASTENERS

with the trigger depressed or when the

Work Contact Element(WCE) is engaged

. The tool may unintentionally fire a

fastener which could cause death or serious personal injury.

18. DO NOT DEPRESS THE TRIGGER

when not driving fasteners. Never

carry tool or attach an air line while touching on the trigger mechanism: tool

may fire an unwanted fastener.

19. DO NOT REMOVE, TAMPER WITH, OR OTHERWISE CAUSE THE

WORK CONTACT ELEMENT (WCE) OR TRIGGER TO BECOME
INOPERABLE.

Do not operate any tool which has been modified in a like

fashion. Death or serious personal injury could result.

20. DON’T OVERREACH.

Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not

reach over or across machines which are running.

21. GRIP TOOL FIRMLY

to maintain control while allowing the tool to recoil

away from the work surface as the fastener is driven.

22. DO NOT DRIVE NAILS

on top of other fasteners, or with the tool at too

steep an angle: the fasteners can ricochet causing personal injury.

23. FIRE FASTENERS INTO WORK SURFACE ONLY.

Do not drive nails nor

attempt to do so, into hard or brittle materials such as steel, concrete, or
tile.

24. DO NOT DRIVE NAILS

too close to the edge of the workpiece. The

workpiece is likely to split, allowing the fasteners to fly free or ricochet

causing personal injury.

25. STAY ALERT.

Keep hands and body away from the path of any potential

fired fastener. Watch what you are doing & use common sense. Don’t

operate any tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs or

alcohol. Check prescription medication to determine if there could be a
problem.

26. PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCKS.

 Prevent body contact with grounded

surfaces: pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerator enclosures. Before

driving fasteners into walls, floors, or wherever “live” electrical wires may be

encountered, check whether there is a danger of shock.

27. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAR

 of obstructions.

28. NEVER CARRY THE TOOL BY AIR HOSE OR PULL THE HOSE TO

MOVE THE TOOL OR A COMPRESSOR.

 Keep hoses away from heat,

oil, and sharp edges. Replace any hose that is damaged, weak or worn.
Personal injury or tool damage could occur.

29. STORE IDLE EQUIPMENT.

When the tool is not being used, it should be

cleaned, and stored in a clean dry place out of the reach of children.

30. NEVER USE GASOLINE OR OTHER FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS TO CLEAN

THE TOOL

. Never use the tool in the presence of of flammable liquids or

gases. A spark could ignite vapours and could cause an explosion resulting
in death or serious injury.

31. AVOID LONG, EXTENDED PERIODS OF WORK

with the tool. Stop using the

tool if you feel pain in hands or arms.

32. DISCONNECT AIR SUPPLY

and release tension from the driver blade before

attempting to clear jams because tools can be ejected from the front of the tool.
Personal injury may occur.

33. AVOID CYCLING THE TOOL WHEN THE MAGAZINE IS EMPTY.

Accelerated wear on the tool may occur.
