Operating instructions SPEEDY F1

Position the clamping piece on the
telescopic tube so that the clamp lever
can be screwed in.
Screw the clamp lever completely in
again.
Now screw in the M6 grub screw
completely.
Apply the retaining ring to the end of the
anti-tipping support tube and fasten it in
place using the four M4 fixing screws
(AF 2.5 mm). Tighten up the fixing
screws to 2 Nm and secure them with
thread lock.
9.
The height of the anti-tipping support is
now adjusted (see the start of this
chapter).
10. Finally, the adjusting function of the anti-
tipping support as well as the fixed
positioning using the clamp lever must be
checked. When the clamp lever is
released, the telescopic tube must be
height adjustable using a little force.
When the clamp lever is tight, the anti-
tipping support must not move under full
load. During this test, the wheelchair user
must lean right back in the product so that
the anti-tipping support supports the entire
load.
23.2 Replacing the anti-tipping support
fork
With the anti-tipping support forks, a distinction
needs to be made between the anti-tipping
support fork with a screw-on axle and one with
a quick-release axle.
23.2.1 Anti-tipping
support
fork
with
screw-on axle
To
remove the anti-tipping support fork
with a screw-on axle
, the "Cap BK19 M12"
must first be removed from the anti-tipping
support bearing block, using a pair of pliers, for
example. Now hold the anti-tipping support fork
firmly and loosen the M12 fixing screw
(AF 19 mm) using a AF 19 mm socket, for
example. The anti-tipping support fork can now
be removed. Normally there is a spacer fitted
between the anti-tipping support fork and the
anti-tipping support bearing block. This must
be retained for the new assembly.

To
assemble the anti-tipping support fork
with screw-on axle
, the M12 fixing screw
(AF 19 mm) is inserted through the anti-tipping
support bearing block and, if necessary, the
spacer is placed under the anti-tipping support
bearing block on the M12 fixing screw. Finally,
the M12 fixing screw (AF 19 mm) is screwed
into the anti-tipping support fork and secured
