25.2.1 Opening and closing the brake
The
brake is closed
by pushing the brake
lever forwards and downwards. In the closed
position, the brake pin pushes the tyre in by
approx. 4 mm (at the specified air pressure in
the tyre).

Please note that the knee lever brake
with pull cable operation is a parking brake
which may only be applied when the product is
at a standstill. This is not a service brake which
is suitable for reducing speed.
To
open the brake
, pull the brake lever back
up and rearwards again. In the open position,
the distance between the brake pin and the
tyre is approx. 3 to maximum of 4 mm.
