ON/OFF switch
• The compressor is switched on by
pressing the button (2) to position I.
• To switch off the compressor, press the
button (2) to position 0.
Electrical connection
The installed electric motor is connected
ready for operation. The connection
complies with the relevant VDE and
DIN regulations. The customer’s mains
connection and the extension cord used
must comply with these regulations.
Defective electric power cord.
The insulation on electric power cords
frequently gets damaged.
This can be caused by:
• Pressure points - when power cords are
routed through windows or door gaps.
• Kinks due to improper fastening or
routing of the power cable.
• Cuts caused when items are pushed or
driven over the power cord.
• Insulation damage caused when the
power cord is ripped out of the wall
socket.
• Cracks due to aging of the insulation.
Do NOT use such defective electric power
cords, their defective insulation are a hazard
to life.
Check electric power cords regularly for
damage. Make sure that while you are
examining the power cord it is not connected
to the power supply. Electric power cords
must comply with the relevant VDE and DIN
regulations. Use only power cords marked
H05W-F.
By law, the type designation must be printed
on the power cord.
AC motor
The mains voltage must be AC220~240V/
50Hz. Extension cords up to a length of 25
m must have a cross section of 1.5 square
millimeters. Electric equipment shall be
connected and/or repaired only by a
quali� ed electrician.
