The bandsaw must be handled by a single person.
Other persons should be kept at a safe distance
especially when the bandsaw is running. Never allow
other people to help if you if the trunk is stuck.
Never stand on the bandsaw. It could result in bodily
injury if the machine is tipped or if you come in
contact with cutting tools.
Do not place anything on or near the machine so that
no one can get up on the bandsaw to access them.
Do not use this machine at night, with fog or low
visibility which will not allow you to see the working
area clearly.
Keep the work area clean and work with good lighting.
Only use this machine with daylight or with good
artificial lighting. Cluttered and dark areas cause
accidents. Inspect and remove any objects that can
cause damage to you or the machine.
2.4. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Only connect this device to power AC 230V/50 Hz with
grounding. In the event of a short circuit, grounding
will reduce the risk of electric shock.
Connect this machine to a residual differential device
whose current is less than or equal to 30mA.
You should check the operation of the differential
before using the machine.
Do not expose the machine to rain or wet conditions.
The water that comes into the machine increases the
risk of electric shock.
Never cut the cable. There is a risk of electric shock
and damage to the machine.
The electrical plug of this machine must match the
base of the socket. Do not ever modify the plug in any
way. Non-modified plugs and matching will reduce the
risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as
pipes, radiators, electric cookers and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electrical shock if your
body is grounded.
Do not touch the cords and plugs with wet hands.
Do not abuse the cord. Do not use the cable to carry,
lift, or unplug the machine. Keep the cable away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or parts in movement. Damaged
or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
Never use the machine with damaged cord or plug.
Before connecting the machine, check the plug and
cable for damage. If you discover any damage, send
your machine to a Service Center for repair. If the cord
is damaged or broken, unplug immediately. Damaged
or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
The replacement of the plug or the power cord should
always be done by the manufacturer or its technical
assistance service.
Do not open the motor terminal box. If necessary, it
must be performed by a qualified electrician.
Never use a damaged connection, which does
not comply with the rules or requirements for this
machine.
