When you insert the time switch in the plug socket
always first press

before starting programming.

Explanatory terms
Resistive appliances are appliances that consume the
same current quantity for the whole duration. E.g.
lights.
Inductive appliances, on the other hand, consume
much more current at the start than in normal
operation. This includes coffee-makers, boilers, heating
appliances, etc.
If the inductive appliance exceeds the inductive
capacity of the time switch the appliance may not
be connected to it. If it is, the switching contact in
the time switch will prematurely fail. This falls
outside the guarantee conditions.
Rechargeable battery
The built-in rechargeable battery ensures that the set
time and all other settings are saved in the event of a
power failure
.
If the battery appears to be nearly empty
on purchasing, plug the time switch into the plug socket
for 30 minutes before starting programming.
Setting the time
Always keep the
CLOCK
key pressed when setting the
time.
Press the
DAY
key to set the weekday.
Press the
HOUR
key to set the hour.
Press the
MIN
key to set the minutes
Release the
CLOCK
key before confirming the correct
time.
ON/OFF switching program
You can set up to 20 programs with the option of
repeating them daily or weekly.
Press the
SET
key,

ON

appears. “1” indicates
the first program, “ON” indicates that the appliance
will switch on at the set time.
Press the
DAY
key to program the weekdays. The
weekdays now flash in the window. Press the
DAY
key repeatedly to set the day(s) on which the
programme must activate. You can also select
combinations of days along with separate weekdays.
Use the
HOUR
and
MIN
keys to set the hours and
minutes of activating in the same way.
To confirm press the
SET
key again, the display
shows

. “1” indicates the first program,
“OFF indicates that the appliance will switch off at
the set time.
Proceed in the same way as you set the start time.
To confirm the switching on and off time press the
SET
key again.
All 20 programs are set in the same way.
NOTE
: If you do not press a key for 15 seconds the
time switch automatically goes back to the normal
operating mode.
Insert the plug of the device to be switched in the plug
socket part of the time switch. If the connected
appliance has an “on-off” switch make sure this is “on”.
Cancelling a switching program
Press the
SET
key to successively display all
programmed switching programs.
Press the
RECALL
key repeatedly to cancel the
switching program. If you have made a mistake you
can restore the preset program by pressing
RECALL.
You can also manually switch the switching program
on or off at any time. You can set different switching
commands by pressing the
MANUAL
key. The
following appears on the screen:

“ON”: always on
o
“OFF”: always off
o
“AUTO ON”: the time switch is on and
follows the set ON/OFF program
o
“AUTO OFF”: the time switch is on and
follows the set ON/OFF program
