1.  Install two batteries into the grip’s battery compartment.
2.  Your camera must be turned ON for the grip to operate.
3.  Use the grip’s Shutter Button (9) to comfortably autofocus 

 

and take photographs while holding your camera in a vertical position.

4.  Use the tripod socket (7) to mount your grip and camera to a 

 

tripod or quick release plate.
