The appliance functions only without power connection. The batteries must be charged before
using the appliance for the first time.
Charging batteries:
Do not recharge the batteries after each use. If the batteries are not used for longer period, it
should be first recharged, whenever required. Plug the adaptor connector
(F)
into the
adaptor
socket
(E)
on the appliance end and connect the adaptor
(G)
to the mains supply. Charging
of the batteries takes approx. 16 hours. The LED-display
(D)
lights up to indicate that the
charging is in progress. On completion of charging, disconnect the charger from the mains.
Once the appliance starts turning slowly, this indicates that the battery must be charged.

Insert the required abrasive wheel into the relevant quick collet
(H)
of the appliance. The
appliance is now ready for operation.
C. Right/Left run
The direction switch
(C)
for the right/left run is located above the LED
(D)
. The corresponding
running direction is selected by sliding this switch. The unit is in standby mode in the centre
position.

:
The direction of run must never be changed during the operation, as the appliance can other-
wise be damaged.
D. Speed Regulation
Move the on/off switch
(B)
from “off-(O)” position to I position, to start the manicure. You can
further increase the speed by pushing the switch in the same direction at stage II.

Before using the device for the first time, allow the hand piece to run for approx. 30 minutes
with approx. 7,000 rpm (switch position I). This is necessary so that the motor brushes can be
grounded.
Note:
A different running noise between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation is normal and caused
by bedding in of the carbon brushes or by running in of bearings.
