C.
When you hear a long beep, this means that the measurement is finished and you can
read the temperature value on the display.
Caution!
•
Please ensure that the subject of the measurement (person or surface) and the thermometer
are kept at a stable room temperature for at least 30 minutes before use.
•
After a continuous measurement, please wait at least two minutes before turning the
thermometer back on.
•
Do not carry out a measurement immediately after patient care.
•
Never use the thermometer in a high-temperature environment.
•
Do not eat, drink or move during the measurement.
• Please clean the scanning area and remove dust, hair or sweat before using the
thermometer.
•
Please remove any water, dust or dirt from the subject of the measurement before
measuring.
•
Please do not remove the thermometer until you hear the long beep at the end of the
measurement.
•
If the measuring head gets dirty or you want to pack the thermometer back into the box,
clean it carefully with a cotton cloth soaked in alcohol.
•
Please attempt to carry out the measurement in the same area since the results in different
areas will be different.
•
Since a baby’s body temperature regulatory function is not perfect, do not carry out a
measurement immediately after a change of environment with a significant difference in
temperature in order to avoid a measurement error.
•
In the following cases, the use of a conventional thermometer to carry out a measurement
is recommended:
1) The measurement results are higher or lower than expected.
2) For newborn babies who are younger than 100 days old.
3) For children under 3 years of age who are suffering from a defective immune system
or a very high fever.
