Do not fully tighten all bolt and nut connections until assembly
is complete.
1. Slide the narrow end of the left front side rail (#3) onto the
cab bar (#6). Repeat with the right front side rail (#7) on
the cab bar’s other end. Align the bolt holes of the side rails
and cab bar.
2. Secure each side bar with an M10x70 carriage bolt set (#19).
3. Slide cross bar A (#5) onto the side rails until it is in front
of the side rails front post. Secure each side with an M12x55
bolt set (#17).
4. Choose the appropriate step based on whether you have a
short or long truck bed.
Short Truck Bed
4.1
Position cross bar B (#5) in front of the side rail’s rear
post. Secure each side with two M12x55 bolt sets (#17).
4.2 Slide the front left leg (#10) onto the side rail until it
touches cross bar B’s curved part. The brace is on the
rear side of the post and the bracket is upright.
4.3 Align the bolt holes in the cross bar and the front left
leg. Secure with two M16x85 bolt sets (#20). Note
there are two M16 washers with each set. One washer
is placed on each side of the leg.
4.4 Secure the leg’s upper bracket with an M12x55 Bolt
(#17).
4.5 Repeat steps 4.2 to 4.4 with the right front leg (#13).
Long Truck Bed
4.6 Insert a rear side rail (#1) top and bottom onto the
front side rail (#3 or 7).
4.7 Align the connecting plate (#12) bolt holes with those
on the struts of the front and rear rail. Secure with
four M10x20 carriage bolt sets.
