SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product (gained
from repeated use) replace strict adherence to the tool safety rules.
If you use this tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious
personal injury.
1. Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a
specific function. Do not modify or alter this tool or use it for an
unintended purpose.
2. Do not use the tool if any parts are damaged, broken or misplaced.
Repair or replace the parts.
3. Do not move, handle or service while hot or burning. Do not attach
or remove a hot or operating tool from the propane tank. The hot
tool can cause a severe burn injury. Allow the tool to cool before
handling.
4. Use only propane gas. Do not use liquid propane.
5. Before connecting the tool to the propane tank, make sure the tool
regulator knob is in the OFF position. Always connect and light the
tool in areas free of open flames.
6. Only use the hose and regulator assembly provided with the tool.
Inspect the hose assembly before each use. If there is excessive
abrasion or wear, or the hose is cut, replace the hose before using
the tool again. The hose and regulator must be protected from
damage.
7. Do not use the forge if it is wet or was immersed in water. This will
reduce the effectiveness of the insulation. Have a service
technician inspect the forge and control system before using it
again.
