WATER AND STEAM COMING FROM FILLER CAP
Probable Cause
Solution
The steamer has been overfilled
or the hose is kinked or damaged.
Steamer nozzle being used at low
level causing condensation to
form in the hose.
Check water level in the steamer, if float is touching
top of sight glass the steamer is overfilled. Remove
poles and hose and empty excess water through
hose hole. If not overfilled check hose for kinks and
damage. Restrictions in the hose will cause safety
valve in filler cap to operate and steam/water to
escape from filler cap. If working at low levels lift the
hose so condensation can run back into the steamer.
Hoses need replacing periodically and can be ordered from your local dealer.
