2.2.6 Sequence
Flag
Y
ES
or
N
O
In order to save bandwidth, you can configure the gateway to use the Sequence
Flag feature (SQ).
If this parameter is set to
N
O
, this feature is not selected, the gateway will send the
object address and value for every monitored point sent to the Client, and the
Sequence Flag (SQ) will be set to zero (0).
If this parameter is set to
Y
ES
, this feature is selected, the gateway will send the
object point address and value for only the first point of a sequence of points, send
only the data value without point address for any remaining points in the sequence,
and the Sequence Flag (SQ) will be set to one (1). When SQ = 1, the Client
assumes that all points after the first point use Information Object Addresses in a
contiguous order (using the first point as the reference starting address).
