Security Menu
The changes you make here affect the access to the
Setup
utility itself, and ac-
cess to the computer on boot (startup). These settings do not affect your ma-
chine or network passwords which will be set in your software OS. Set a
Supervisor password for access to the
Setup
utility. Entering a user password
will not allow a user to modify the menu items.

The consequences of
this could be serious. If
you cannot remember
your boot password
you must contact your
vendor and you may
lose all of the informa-
tion on your hard disk.
