The Parking Light will flash 3 times indicating the Module is now in Valet Mode. The
LED will turn
ON
solid.
3.
The transmitter will display the
icon; the LED will remain on solid.
To EXIT Ignition Valet Mode
1.
With the key in the Ignition switch, turn the key to the ON (RUN/IGNITION) and then
OFF positions 5 times within 10 seconds.
2.
The Parking Light will flash twice indicating the Module is now out of Valet Mode. The
LED will turn OFF.
3.
The
icon will disappear from the transmitter; the LED will turn off.
Valet Mode Using the Valet Button
(Available only of the plug-in Valet switch is installed)
To put the system i n t o Valet Mode with valet button:
1.
Turn the ignition key to the
IGNITION ON
(
RUN
) position.
2.
Within 3 sec. press and hold the valet button for approximately 1 sec. The parking lights will
flash 3 times. Then turn the ignition key to
OFF
and the L.E.D. will turn
ON
and remain lit.
3.
The transmitter will display the Valet icon.
To take the system o u t o f Valet Mode with valet button:
1.
Turn the ignition key to the
IGNITION ON
(
RUN
) position.
2.
Within 3 sec. press and hold the valet button for approximately 1 sec. The parking lights will
flash twice and the L.E.D. will go
OFF
. The Valet Icon will disappear from the transmitter
screen.
The valet button can only be used if the ignition key is in the
IGNITION ON
(
RUN
) position.
Panic Mode
Note:
Panic mode can only be activated if your installer has adequately configured the horn.
In an emergency situation, you can activate panic mode by pressing and holding the
button for
3 seconds. If the vehicle is under a remote start, the engine will shutdown automatically before
setting off the horn. You can stop the horn by pressing
(this will lock your doors) or by pressing
(this will unlock your doors).
If the car is not running, you can stop the horn by pressing the
or buttons but it will not lock
or unlock the doors.
Furthermore, the panic mode can be stop by activating one of the following three (3) features:
a.
Remote valet (pressing and for 3 seconds)
b.
Ignition valet (turning the key inside the ignition switch from OFF to ON 5 times in a row)
c.
By pressing the valet switch (if included).
Panic Mode will automatically shut down after 25ec.
Quick Lockout
TM
(Also called
Secure Panic
.) For fast protection, the system will
LOCK
all doors when you
press the
brake pedal while the horn is activated and the system is in Panic Mode
. (Quick Lockout is
only available when Panic Mode has been activated.)
Remote Door Locks Option
If your system was installed with the remote door locks option, you will have the convenience of
remote keyless entry.
To u n l o c k your doors and d i s a r m the system:
1.
Press and hold the
UNLOCK
button for approximately 1 sec.
2.
The parking lights will flash twice and the LED will turn off to confirm that the doors have been
unlocked and that the starter kill feature is disarmed if it was installed.
