Massage Mode
The following description is for a unit that has all possible features, some of these features
may not be available for your unit or market.
Starting the Massage session
The massage session time will automatically begin after the external timer delay time has
expired. During the preset delay time the session can be started by manually pressing the
START button on the external timer, thereby overriding the delay time. Or if you have the
Quickstart feature set up the delay can be overriden by pushing START on the screen.
If you are using the unit in stand-alone mode press START on the screen, the maximum
session time will show in the upper right corner of the display. At this time you can set up
the massage or you could have set up your massage session during the delay time. When
your massage is set up the way you have selected, and you hit start, the Massage session
will start.
If you do not override the delay time then you will have a few minutes to prepare yourself
for the session.
• Remove all sharp objects
• Remove your shoes
If you are ready prior to the delay time being over you can override the delay by hitting the
START button on the display or tmax timer.
Operation during the massage session
During the massage session the features can be used by pushing the buttons on the
display screen.
You can push the feature you wish to change (i.e. increase the pressure or time per zone).
Note: The changes you make during the session to the features may not take effect until
the massage session goes to the next zone.
Stopping the Massage Session
If the time in the session runs out naturally then the unit will go into a 3 minute cool-down if
the temperature is more than 2 degrees above the set temperature. However if you need to
stop the session prior to end of the sesion you can do so by hitting the STOP Button on the
display screen.
