activities when there is a risk of strangulation/hanging if the child gets caught with the

1. Please take note of the following!
No protective equipment can provide absolute protection from injury. The degree of
protection depends on many factors. This Protos® Integral and its components are not a
substitute for safe work practices. Please observe the safety provisions of the relevant
authorities (professional associations, government agencies for occupational health and
safetyand the like) and safety instructions in the manual of the power tool you use. Check
the Protos® Integral and its components before each use to make sure it is in good condition
(for example, visual check). Immediately discard the Protos® Integral and/or the components
if damages or changes are found. Make sure that these parts cannot be reused again!
2. Choosing the right size
a) The Protos® should not be pulled too far in the forehead, so the view is not impaired.
b) The forehead must be protected. Therefore, the Protos® should not be pushed too far
over the back of the head
c) The Protos® is properly adjusted when sitting horizontally on the head
The protective effect is only achieved if the Protos® Integral fits properly and the
headband isadjusted to the size of the head (also see point 3).
3. Choosing the right height
To achieve optimum protection, adjust the correct height of the Protos® Integral (3-stage
adjustment, left and right side of the neck guard) (also see point 2).
