Base settings
Set Base PIN:
The default base PIN is “0000”. You can change it if you do not want other
users to register additional handsets to your Punkt. Base station. Please
refer to the “Multi-Handset” section in this Guide for further information
concerning the registration procedure.

Enter the new PIN (4 digits), select “Done” and press

Note: Make a note of your new PIN and keep it in a safe place.
Deregistration:

Dial mode:

Select “Tone” for DTMF dialing (default setting)
or “Pulse” for decadic dialing.

Flash time:
Note: If you are in France and are connected to the public analogue
line (PSTN network), you should set “Flash time” = 270 ms as
explained below.
During a conversation, the “Flash” option is normally used to access
special services (also known as “supplementary services”) if these
are supported by your telephone operator, such as “Call waiting”
service, “3-way conference”, etc. Please check with your telephone
operator for availability of the above services.

Select one of the available settings: 98 ms (default setting); 270 ms;
380 ms; 900 ms). If you are located in France, you should choose
270 ms.

Reset to default:
After this operation:
• the “Call History” will be emptied.
• the “Flash time” will be restored to “98 ms”.
• the “Dial mode” will be restored to “Tone” (DTMF).
