7.2.1 Port Forwarding
To forward the ports you would need to access the router program by opening
an internet browser and typing the default gateway address into the address
bar and hitting enter. How you would forward the ports in the router depends
on the brand and model of router you have. If you do not have the instructions
for your router you can go to the website
www.portforward.com
which has
instructions on how to do this for most popular routers. On the first page click
on the orange Routers link, red square in Fig 7.3.

then select your router from the list, then on the second page click on the
orange Default Guide link, blue box in Fig 7.4

and it will give you instructions for your router.
