and the manual retained for future reference
Check the working voltage of the unit
Please verify that the working voltage on the panel matches the local voltage before using the unit. All units
are shipped with the electric plug and voltage corresponding to the target market standard. If the voltage
marked on the rear panel is different from your locale standard, or the plug does not fit, please inform your
local distributor or QAT Audio Technology Ltd.
Do not disassemble the unit
Do not open the unit, for reducing the risk of electric shock.
The machine does not contain any user-serviceable parts (except the fuse). Please leave all maintenance
work to qualified technicians. Disconnect supply cord before changing fuse.
Circumstances when the unit should be powered off
Using the unit under such circumstance may cause fire. When the chassis is emitting smoke or strange
smells, please unplug the AC power immediately, pay attention not to get burned by overheated parts. Con-
tinuation of using the unit under such circumstances may cause fire. Turn off the unit during thunderstorms,
or when not using for long amounts of time.
Ensure ventilation
The vents on the chassis are to ensure ventilation to protect the unit against overheating. DO NOT BLOCK
OR COVER these openings, for instance the unit should not be situated on a bed, sofa, carpet or similar
surfaces, or placed into installations such as a bookcase that may impede the airflow through the ventilation
openings.
Avoid exposure of unit to liquids, moisture, foreign objects
Never slip any foreign objects through the openings into the unit, to avoid damage to the internal compo-
nents or causing a fire or electric shock. Keep the unit away from sources of water or moisture (.e.g. bath-
tub), and liquid filled containers such as bottles and glasses, and avoid any liquids to be spilled on or into the
unit. Do not use liquid detergents or aerosol cleaning agents. Please use only a dry cloth for cleaning the
unit.
Do not install close to sources of heat
Don’t place the unit close to radiators, stoves, or electric devices that generate lots of heat,
such as power amplifiers. Do not put any open flames such as candles on or near the unit.
