15.3 Functional Test Capability
Whether performed for post-installation checkout or maintenance purposes, the
following tests can be made with the test panel:
Analog Monitoring
Status Monitoring
Accumulator Monitoring
Pulse Duration Measurements
Control Operation
Set Point Operation
Master-Remote Communication Monitoring
Security Features
15.3.1
Analog Monitoring
The test panel may be used to display the value of any analog point within the ePAQ
subsystem. The information displayed (unscaled raw value) will represent the digital
value produced by the subsystem's analog-to-digital conversion of the analog input
value. One (1) to eight (8) analog points can be displayed at a time. Analog points
displayed. Analog points displayed can consist of the 4 hardware analog points
connections at ePAQ terminal block TB3C, as well as other analog points within the
overall subsystem.
15.3.2
Status Monitoring
In this mode of operation, the test panel will display the status (on or off) of every
point on one (1) to four (4) selected 16-point status groups at a time as they are
being processed within the ePAQ-9405 Subsystem. Status points displayed can
consist of the 12 hardware status point connections at ePAQ terminal blocks TB3A,
and TB3B, as well as other status within the overall subsystem.
15.3.3
Accumulator Monitoring
Each accumulator (pulse count) point can be displayed by the ePAQ test panel
software to verify correct accumulations by the ePAQ subsystem. Up to eight (8)
accumulator points can be displayed at a time.
15.3.4
Control Operation
In the control operation mode, the ePAQ test panel software can be used to perform
local operation of the interposing relays within the ePAQ subsystem.
