OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. POWER SOURCE
Ensure that the power source to be utilized conforms to the power requirements
specified on the product nameplate
2. POWER SWITCH
Ensure that the power switch is in the OFF position. If the plug is connected to a
power receptacle while the power switch is in the On position, the power tool
will start operating immediately, inviting serious injury.
3. EXTENSION CORD
When the work area is removed from the power source, use an extension cord
of sufficient thickness and rated capacity. The extension cord should be kept as
short as practicable.
4. CHECK THE TIGHTENING OF THE DRILL CHUCK
The drill chuck has been tightened at the factory, but check again that it is
secure before use.
Turn the drill chuck clockwise to tighten.
This drill is equipped with a precision 3-jaw chuck. To use, insert bits and
accessories far enough into the chuck to ensure full contact along the length of
the jaws. To close the chuck, use the chuck key in each of the chuck holes in
succession. Ensure that the gears mesh, then turn the key firmly. Remove the key
before turning on the drill. Do not overload the drill, e.g., never use an accessory
larger than the rated chuck capacity of the drill.
MIXING
To use for mixing thin-set, grout, mortar, paint.
CAUTION:
Use extreme caution to avoid getting water in the drill, and around
your working area. Add water to the mix container away from the drill, electrical
supply cords, and your work area. Wear rubber boots and gloves when mixing
material containing water.
In the event water enters the mixing drill housing, DO NOT OPERATE THE DRILL
UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY DRY! Damage to your drill, electric shock, or severe
bodily injury may occur!
