Removing and Installing Blade

Always ensure the tool is switched OFF and unplugged before removing or
installing the blade. To remove the blade, grip the outside flange with a box
wrench and turn the socket wrench clockwise. To install, follow the removal
procedures in reverse.

Replacing Carbon Brushes

Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly. Replace when the carbon
brushes are worn to about 6mm or less. Keep the carbon brushes clean to
ensure unrestricted movement in the holder. Both carbon brushes should be
replaced at the same time. Use a screwdriver to remove the brush caps and
to replace the worn carbon brushes. Secure the brush caps after inserting
new brushes.
