The boiler shall be placed so that the vent pipe is as short as practical.
The
VENT HOOD
must be installed at least one foot above ground level or normal snow ac-
cumulation level in an area which is free of obstruction at all times. The Vent hood should be
installed on the leeward side of the house out of the wind. Outside air must be ducted directly
to the burner through the hood unit supplied.
The Direct Vent System must be gas tight.
