5 Maintenance
5.1 Safety precautions
HAZARD
Only qualified personnel should carry out maintenance work on the machine.
HAZARD
Always disconnect the power supply before carrying out maintenance work on
the machine.
HAZARD
Make sure that the machine is completely switched off before performing mainte-
nance work. Always lock the main switch with a lock when working.
HAZARD
Place back all removed covers before using the machine.
HAZARD
When working in the hazardous area under the elevator, ALWAYS lower the lift to
its lowest position manually or let it rest on its fall protection.
WARNING
Before working on the different devices, the manuals of the relevant parts must be
studied.
Read these manuals before work starts!
WARNING
Do not clean the machine with alcoholic, chlorinated or scratching cleaning agents.
High-pressure cleaning is not allowed when using components with a lower degree
of protection (protection class) than IP68.
