• The use of damp, painted or poor quality
wood can lead to the formation of con-
densation and/or soot in the fireplace or
in the hearth, reducing the performance
of the stove and giving rise to hazardous
situations.
• Have the chimney cleaned regularly, in
compliance with local legislation and reg-
ulations required by law. If there is no leg-
islation and/or standards: make sure that
the entire stove-flue pipe-chimney system
is checked and cleaned by an authorised
technician at least twice a year (once at
the beginning of the winter season). If the
stove is used continuously and intensively,
the entire system, including the chimney,
must be cleaned more frequently.
• Do not use the stove as a barbecue.
Connect only one wood burning stove
per flue pipe. Connecting several stoves
to the same flue pipe can give rise to
hazardous situations.
This stove requires an electrical connection.
Read the following warnings and observations
carefully:
• Do not use a damaged electric cable.
• A damaged electric cable must be replaced
by the supplier or by authorised person-
nel/repair centre.
• Do not block or bend the cable.
• Make sure that the electric cable does not
come into contact with any hot parts of
the stove.
• DO NOT use an extension cable to connect the
stove. If you do not have a grounded socket,
