Acquire the Digital Contents for Playback
You can use the NMP-1000 to play the digital contents on the local hard drive
(optional purchase) or from the local network. Select one of the following ways
to acquire the digital contents for playback.

Use Network Connection

Play from remote PC or NAS

Connect the NMP-1000 to your home network.
The NMP-1000 can be connected to the network with WEP/WPA-PSK
encryption through USB wireless adaptor (802.11b/g/n) without physical
network cables.
For HD video playback from the network, it is recommended to use wired
connection.

The NMP-1000 acquires an IP by DHCP automatically.
If you need to configure a static IP, use the remote control to enter “Settings”
> “Network” and enter the settings for “Static IP”. See Section 5.3.1 for
more information.
