1   The maximum number of local channels a Core can have is 128 in and 128 out (64 in and 64 out). Each card has its own limitations (see the “I/O Cards (Mic/Line In, Line Out)” 

specifi cations). You can mix types, directions, and number of I/O channels; the combination dictates the maximum number of channels. For example, if you used all 4 channels of a Line In 
card, all input and output channels of 2 AES cards, you now have used 12 input channels, and 8 output channels, leaving 116 input channels, and 120 output channels to use with other cards.

2   Requires purchase of I/O cards.
3   Each CobraNet card has up to 32 input channels, and up to 32 output channels. You can reach 256 (128) CobraNet channels with 4 (2) cards or, up to 8 cards.
4   AES3 cards have four input channels, and four output channels per card.
