QLK MOUNTING
Drill 3/8” holes at the marked locations
a.
Drill 6 holes for wheelchairs over 85 Kg (187 lbs)
or WC19 wheelchairs with integrated lap belts
b.
Drill 4 holes for Wheelchairs under or equal to 85
Kg (187 lbs).
c.
Ensure that the QLK Docking Station installation
points do not, as individual anchors or as a
complete system, damage or weaken the vehicle
structure.
Install supplied Hardware
a.
Line up the mounting holes and insert the bolts
through the vehicle floor.
b.
Place the supplied washers as illustrated and
tighten the nut to minimum torque value of 30
FT-LBS.
Install Control Module
a.
Determine the location for the Control Module
and most protective routing methods for the
electrical wires so to prevent pinch points, wire
chafing, and sharp edges. The Control Module
must be installed in the interior section of the
vehicle, preferably under the dashboard.
b.
Permanently secure the Control Module at the
selected location
