Step 6:
Upgrade the FPGA program.
#Upgrade the FPGA program of the CE1, SA, E1 and other WAN subcards as desired. For
example, use sysupdate to upgrade the FPGA program of all E1 subcards on the device.
Device#sysupdate fpga lpu all 2.0.0.1 ir0092e1_fpv005_105.bin ftp admin
admin
The upgrade commands of the CE1, SA and other WAN sub cards are the same as the above,
and you only need to modify the file name. The system will print the related information about
the process of upgrading the FPGA program and whether the upgrading succeeds.
If not specifying the card type when upgrading FPGA, search for the
corresponding card for upgrading automatically according to the FPGA
program type.
Usually, the update frequency of the FPGA program is low. Please confirm
that the upgrade version is newer than the current version of the system
first, and then, upgrade. For the method of viewing the FPGA version
number of the system, refer to Step 6.
Step 7:
Use a command to restart the device.
#Use the reload command to restart the device.
Device #reload
Save current configuration to startup-config(Yes|No)?yes
Please confirm system to reload(Yes|No)?yes
Before the restart, determine whether to save the configuration according to the actual
requirement.
Step 8:
Check the result.
#After the upgrade is completed and the device is restarted, view the version numbers of the
programs to check whether the versions have been upgraded.
#Check whether the image program, bootloader program, and FPGA program have been
upgraded successfully. The control cards include QSR-M-3920-3ESP3, QSR-M-3920-3ESP5, and
QSR-M-3920-3ESP10. Take QSR-M-3920-3ESP5 as an example to perform the show operation.
