Flir housing usage

The SARAH2O PRO comes equipped with a weather resistant, removable, adjustable housing for the
Flir Vue and Flir Vue Pro camera.

A live video feed is transmitted from the Flir camera, directly to the supplied 7” monitor.

Installing the Flir camera

For instruction on installing the Flir camera into the housing, please refer to the Installation guide which
can be downloaded via the QuadH2O website:

https://www.quadh2o.com/sarah2o-pro/downloads/flir-install-guide/

Once the camera is installed, mount the housing to the SARAH2O using the supplied thumb knob. The
angle of the housing can be adjusted to suit.

Do not over tighten the thumb knob as you may damage the housing or mount.

Once the housing is in place, remove the blanking plug form the JR socket (located just below the
carbon top plates) and connect the Flir housing supply cable.

Installing the monitor

Fit the  7” monitor to the supplied Lightbridge controller dual monitor mount. Attach the spironet
antenna on either of the two SMA sockets located on the top of the monitor. Then finally attach the
supplied Patch antenna to the remaining SMA socket.

The monitor is powered by a integrated rechargeable battery and no additional connections to the
monitor are required.

Your Flir camera is now ready to use, and a live video feed will be transmitted via the integrated video
transmitter, to the supplied 7” monitor.

We recommend the Flir housing is removed from the SARAH2O PRO when not in use. Simply discount
the supply cable from the JR socket and replace the blacking plug. Loosen the thumb knob and
remove the Flir housing.

When the Flir housing is not in use, we recommend you disable the power to the JR socket. To

do this remove the 2 pin power feed cable from the video transmitter, which is located next to

the electrics tray inside the SARAH2O PRO electrics tray.
