Balancing the Brushcutter on the
Shoulder Harness

1. Hang the machine on the harness hook, and see

how it balances.

2. Adjust the shoulder harness, the harness hanger on the

frame pipe, and the loop handle or U-type handlebar, so the
handle or handlebars are in a comfortable operating position,
and the trimmer hangs with its cutting attachment a few
inches above the ground.

STARTING THE
BRUSH CUTTER

Starting the product depends on whether the engine is cold or
warm.

WARNING: The recoil starter can be damaged by
abuse.
- Never pull the starter cord to its full length.
- Always engage the starter before cranking the 
  engine.
- Always rewind the starter cord slowly.

Once the machine has been set up properly, start the engine
as follows:

1.   Press the fuel primer bulb 8 times.

2.   Turn the engine switch to the ON position ( l ).

3.  Put the choke lever into the CLOSED position (P).

4.  Pull the recoil starter handle until it engages, then pull briskly

(Q). Repeat until the engine fires and is running.
