Unplug the USB cable from your unit.
Important note:
Plugging your GPS into a PC or removing the magnet from the GPS
will reset the time. Whenever the unit does not have a time, it will attempt to acquire the
time from a satellite every 20 minutes unless it is plugged into a PC or has a magnet
attached, potentially draining the battery if it is somewhere it cannot acquire a satellite.
Therefore, it is important to either set the time before unplugging it from a PC or use the
magnet to disable it until deployment.
3.5i Programming your Drop Off

If your Drop Off was purchased after January 2012 you may program your
Drop Off using the same USB port as your GPS. Otherwise you must use
the secondary USB port included on your GPS. The secondary USB port
requires a mini USB cable.

A window will open titled select collar. If it does not open then go to the file
menu and select edit collar.

In this window you will see a box entitled
Drop
off
.

Select this box.
6.
Input the desired drop off date and time.
7.
Click Ok. Your collar is now set to drop off at
the selected date and time.
8.
Go to the Settings page.
9.
Click clear drop off. It is located in the service options box on the settings page.
10.
Click set time located in the collar options box on the settings page.
11.
Click write all.
12.
Unplug your GPS.
