7.4 Creating your download schedule
Your automatic remote data download schedule is controlled by a file called
settings.csv
.
This file is created by the user and contains your detailed schedule. This section will
instruct you on creating this settings file and uploading it to the software.
7.4a Steps to create your schedule
While on the computer that runs the software
1.
Open
settings.csv.
The
default location is
C:\Program Files\Collar Auto\data
.

Add the lines of your new programming. This starts directly below line two
shown in the chart below.

Save the file.
While using another computer
1. Open settings.csv.

Add the lines of your new programming. This starts directly below line two

Save the file to a USB storage device.
4.
Connect the USB storage device to the computer running the software.
7.4b Configure settings.csv
The
settings.csv
file contains all of your programming and can easily be edited using any
document editing program. When you open
settings.csv
for the first time you will see the
text that is located in the right column below:
